Project implemented with the contribution of the Emilia-Romagna Region, R.L. 7/2020 - Heritage Walks: Nature and Culture

In September and October, during the Sunday openings of the Villa Saffi Park, events and guided tours will be organised in collaboration with local organisations.
The project ‘A Spasso nel Parco’ (Strolling in the Park), conceived to promote knowledge of the arboreal and environmental heritage of this historic garden, is promoted by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Forlì with its Museums Unit, in collaboration with various local associations.
The initiative aims to valorise Emilia-Romagna's parks and historic gardens, promoting an aware and sustainable use of green spaces.

Participation: FREE ENTRANCE
‘In the garden of Giorgina Saffi’. Guided botanical visit in three time slots with free admission by the Voluntary Ecological Guards.
Expert naturalist Massimo Milandri will illustrate the plant essences present in the Park.

‘From Park to Park’
A walk open to all that will link the Villa Saffi Park with the ‘La Cócla’ Nature Garden in the city centre. A snack will be offered on the first leg. The walks are organised in collaboration with District No. 18 and the ASD Villagrappa Association.

How to participate: FREE ENTRANCE
‘Botanical Treasure Hunt for Families’.
In conjunction with FAMU (Families at the Museum), a ‘botanical’ treasure hunt will be organised for families, with the aim of involving young and old in a playful and educational activity. This activity will be organised in collaboration with the Raggruppamento Guardie Ecologiche Volontarie di Forlì O.D.V. (Forlì Voluntary Ecological Guards Group).

‘From Park to Park’
A walk open to all, linking the Villa Saffi Park with the Montone River Park. A snack will be offered on the first leg. The walk is organised in collaboration with District No. 18 and the ASD Villagrappa Association.

Participation: FREE ADMISSION
‘Dances in the Hague. Music and dances from the early 20th century’.
Organised by the ‘L'uva grisa’ group to enrich the cultural experience, a period dance group will perform historical dances in the park, recreating the atmosphere of times gone by.
