From Thursday 8 August, in order to continue the renovation of Palazzo Merenda, the Saffi Library moved to the decentralised P.P. Harris Library in the Parco della Resistenza with main entrance from Viale Spazzoli 13/A. 
For the occasion, the interior furnishings and the surrounding green area have been renovated with new seating and reading tables!

The decentralised Library in the park will therefore be open throughout the summer to offer the essential services hitherto provided by the Saffi Library, in particular the loan and newspaper consultation services (newspaper library).

During the month of August, the Harris Library will be open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (extended hours).

It will be possible to request and collect Saffi books through the methods already in use, i.e. using the online catalogue ‘Scoprirete’ and the usual communication channels, which remain unchanged. For the return of Saffi books, the book box in Corso della Repubblica 78 will remain active.
In the coming months, Rotary Club will organise educational activities for children and families, as part of the project ‘The indispensable value of pen and paper in learning processes’.
From September and until the opening of the New Saffi Library in Palazzo Romagnoli, opening hours will be extended:
- Monday afternoons from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m,
- Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
- Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

At Palazzo Merenda, the in-person consultation service for the Antiquarian and Piancastelli Funds will remain active on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. by appointment.
For any other bibliographic information, the email request and processing methods will remain unchanged.
