Train station

Train station

Designed by Ezio Bianchi, the station dates back to the mid-1920s. The long, eclectic-style façade of about 80 metres is dominated by a central part, corresponding to the main entrance, and the double-height hall, characterised by two symmetrical towers framing the three large entrance arches. The arches, in turn, are marked by pilasters and decorated with large floral garlands. On the sides, the building is completed by two further sections with two secondary arched entrances.
