Alberti Library

Alberti Library

The Alberti Library is part of the network of decentralized libraries of the Municipality of Forlì, a reference point for the life and cultural growth of the neighbourhoods.
The decentralized libraries are managed since 1997 by the Cooperative Treottouno with the aim of experimenting and promoting job placement for disadvantaged people. The management of services is in fact carried out by competent and qualified librarians, supported by disabled operators or in other conditions of disadvantage. In order to encourage the passion for reading, in addition to the management of purely library services (loan management, cataloguing, etc.), Formula Solidale organizes creative workshops, animated readings, cultural initiatives, guided tours for schools and meetings with the neighborhood, confirming that the library is a place of culture, sociality and aggregation for all age groups in the area.
The Alberti Library is part of the Romagna and San Marino Library Network. In addition to the main room there are two separate rooms: - one dedicated to the age group 0-5 years old, with carpets and pillows to encourage moments of individual and group reading - one dedicated to study and reading for children, young people and adults.
